World #1 Ashleigh Barty looked to continue her early success at the Western and Southern Open third round on Thursday. The Australian born #1 seed would face defending champion Victoria Azarenka from Belarus. In the end Barty would win easily 6-0, 6-2. This win would also ensure both the men's and women's draws would have new champions.
