Its the unofficial start of summer that does it for me, but it's also not lost on me how much gratitude I have for service members past, and present.
MDW this year was a bust weather wise but I chose to take full advantage of whatever situations came my way. I used this time to swim laps at my local pool, relax, read, organize and most important- socialize with my circle. I'm blessed to have good friends that make the best of every situation, so we took advantage of the new lifted mask restrictions and explored some bars we hadn't been to in a while and watched the FC Soccer game. The picture above was from Sunday night ( no Monday alarm needed) on my friends patio. There's something about a wine & cheese plate with a setting sun that really does it for me.
