BTS is back!
RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook reunited for their first livestream as a group since completing their mandatory military service on July 1, according to a press release. The South Korean-born standouts unveiled plans to release a new album and detailed the timeline for the highly anticipated project.
"We’ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year. Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music. Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas. We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started."
In addition to working on new music, BTS plans to embark on a world tour in 2026! The tour, supporting their upcoming album, will be their first as a group in four years following 2022's BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE, which saw over 4 million fans worldwide.
"We’re also planning a world tour alongside the new album. We’ll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you’re as excited as we are," the "Butter" stars assured.
Individually, Jin recently wrapped up the Korean leg of his solo tour, and j-hope will take the stage at Lollapalooza Berlin on July 13.
