Full House star Dave Coulier's wife, Melissa, recently shared an update on the actor's health amid his ongoing battle with cancer.

According to WXYZ Detroit, the standout, who played uncle Joey Gladstone in the beloved series that ran from 1987 to 1995, has endured some really tough days since being diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

"He has some really tough days," Melissa remarked, "and as the chemo has been accumulating it gets a little tougher and more difficult."

Coulier announced that he was battling cancer in November 2024 and gave fans an update on his condition (via iHeartRadio's Full House Rewind podcast) earlier this month, sharing that he was experiencing a roller coaster of side effects from chemotherapy treatments but that he was ultimately "feeling good." His wife assured that he is holding onto this positivity as he continues to fight the condition.

"He has such a positive attitude, and you need that in order to really fight it. Every morning, if he's feeling up for it, we try to put on a song and do a little dance party with the dogs, because when you do feel good, you have to celebrate that too."

Melissa revealed that Dave gets his strength from his loved ones, as he's seen a few of his family members "power through" cancer.

"I think it's just innately in him. He has had a lot of loss in his life when it comes to having to deal with cancer. He lost his mother, his sister, his niece. His other sister had it. I think for him, he takes every stride and really pulls strength from seeing the women that were so close in his life to powering through it, and he just wants to honor them."
