Katy Perry has been staying busy in quarantine, preparing not only for the release of her new album, Smile, on August 28th, but also preparing for an even more important and exciting delivery: the birth of her daughter! Katy Perry and her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, are expecting their first child together very soon, so we could not be more thrilled that she was able to take the time to sit down and answer questions about everything she's got going on during her #MostRequestedLive Ask Anything Chat this weekend. On whether she'll consider doing a virtual concert after Smile is released:
"Yes, I actually would, although I'm going to have a babycat, and I will need to look after her, and until I can get my footing back, I'm not sure I'll be able to dance around too much or do a concert. But, I think that August 28th isn't the end of Smile, it is a full year of Smile and maybe even next year."
On how she revealed the news to Orlando that she was pregnant:
"I was about to go on a hike with my sister, and I had just found out, and so I Facetimed him before the hike, and I told him, and he was really blown away, and I think he had tears in his eyes, it was very sweet."
On what she's learned from her nieces about children:
"I have learned that after about [age] three or four, with the girls, you can no longer tell them what they want to wear. They will dress themselves, so there goes all of my styling and dreams and outfits. She will probably will hate color and want to wear black, which is my worst nightmare."
