What a SHOW! Billy McFarland, of Fyre Festival disaster, recently participated in a podcast called "Dumpster Fyre" and when authorities found out- THEY PLACED HIM IN SOLITARY CONFINEMENT.
Insane. There are rules about doing podcasts and social media in prison (who knew?!) and he used cameras behind bars to show what his life is currently like. His lawyers are ~obviously~ against all of this.
“We believe the investigation stems from his participation in the podcast and the photographs that were taken and utilized in the trailer, which were all properly taken,” said the lawyer, Jason Russo. “We don’t believe he’s violated any rule or regulation, and there can’t possibly be anything else. He’s been a model prisoner there.”
Weirdly enough his cellmate was also placed in solitary confinement. I truly don't understand whats so bad about being on a podcast besides the fact that it's a podcast...and not radio. I'm petty.
