Police Chief Warned Travis Scott Before Festival / Attendees To Get Refunds

Travis Scott has announced that he will be refunding all Astroworld Festival tickets following the horrific tragedy that took place during his performance on Friday. 

Scott has also canceled his performance at the Day N' Vegas festival that is scheduled for this Saturday. 

The festival was a sold out show with 100,000 tickets being sold.

According to sources, the general admission ticket cost $300 plus additional $65 worth of fees.

Houston's Police Chief says he personally warned Travis Scott about the crowd ahead of Friday's tragic Astroworld set. According to the New York Times, Chief Troy Finner went to Scott's trailer to share "concerns about the energy in the crowd".

Eight people, including two minors, died when a crushing surge of fans rushed towards the stage. The show continued for about 40 minutes after local officials declared it a 'mass casualty event'.
