53 never looked so good! A week after her surprise wedding with Ben Affleck, 49, Jlo celebrated her birthday by debuting her new beauty line product - JLo Body - with a nude photo shoot. JLo said to PEOPLE, "We already have some amazing products targeting tightening and firming for the face, so a product for the body that addressed those same issues was a natural step for us. It was also the bod part that our consumers wanted a targeted treatment for, and they couldn't find it on the market." JLo went on to say that the product is something she's been thinking about her "whole life" after growing up watching her mother struggle with cellulite. "I remember her wishing that there was some magic formula that was going to make it disappear. And the truth ism we know that doesn't exist." What does exist, is a product that provides noticeable results/ "Working with scientists, we have found that it really does improve the appearance of the skin. We're not just taking a random cream and slapping my name on it. It works." The formula contains pink pepperslim to fade the look of stretch marks, guayana seed extract to smooth, caffeine to tighten, peptides to boost collagen production, and powerful hydrators - squalene, shea butter, and hyaluronic acid.
Lopez says that you can use the balm to give you a more toned butt, arms, waist, and thighs. She's hoping to make body products the next step in your essential daily skincare and beauty routine. "A lot of people invest in skincare for their face, but they don't invest in self-care and skincare for their body... I want to normalize taking care of yourself. It's not a selfish thing. It's a nourishing thing."
