Kanye West Is Working On 'Jesus Is King Part II' With Dr. Dre

Ever since shifting his focus to gospel music, the creative juices keep flowing for Kanye West. A month ago he dropped his gospel album Jesus Is King, and apparently he's already working on its followup — with none other than Dr. Dre. Earlier this week the recently converted Christian rapper and producer legend shared identical posts on Twitter that say "Ye and Dre Jesus is King Part II coming soon" alongside a photo of the duo in the studio.

"Soon" of course is relative, considering Jesus Is King came out weeks after its initial release date, and Yandhi straight up never happened; however, he did recently declare that a Sunday Service album called Jesus Is Born is coming out on Christmas.

Check out Ye and Dre's posts below.

Aside from releasing new music, West has also recently said that he's going on a Jesus Is King tour "right away." He also released a corresponding IMAX film that made over $1 million during its first weekend in theaters, and wrote an opera titled "Nebuchadnezzar," which is slated to premiere at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 24. The live performance will feature "music with Sunday Service, Peter Collins & Infinities Song" and be under the artistic direction of Italian contemporary performance artist Vanessa Beecroft.
