H.E.R. Wore A Live Snake Around Her Neck at The 2019 VMAs

2019 MTV Video Music Awards - Red Carpet

If you haven't noticed by now, snake print is one of the hottest trends this season, and H.E.R. took a step further and wore an ACTUAL LIVE snake on the red carpet at this year's MTV VMAs.

Dressed in an olive green jumpsuit with a floral motif print, and (of course) her signature shades, H.E.R. topped her look off with a snake, who just hung around her neck.

On Instagram, the singer posted a short video clip from the red carpet showing off her ensemble, and looking completely unbothered by the fact that the live serpent is just casually around her neck. She wrote along with the clip, "VMA'S with a noodle."

H.E.R. always looks cool and collected, but this is taking it to another level.

H.E.R. was nominated for three VMAs this year, including Best New Artist, Push artist of the Year and Best R&B for her song "Could've Been" featuring Bryson Tiller.

The R&B star released several new songs this year including her most recent single, "21" and "Racks" featuring YBN Cordae, which follow her two 2018 EPs, I Used to Know Her: The Prelude and I Used to Know Her: Part 2.

This September, H.E.R. will be hitting the stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival and the Daytime Stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival alongside a lineup of superstar artists and rising stars. Fans across the country can tune in and watch an exclusive live stream of the iHeartRadio Music Festival in September 20th and 21st via The CW App and CWTV.com. Then, on October 2nd and 3rd, relive all of the epic performances from the weekend during a televised special on The CW Network at 8pm ET/PT. And leading up to the official television special, The CW will also air an hour-long Best Of Special on Sunday, September 29th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
